About Us

NSA (Nepali Society of America) Boston is a community-driven organization founded in 2024 to connect & empower Nepali students, professionals, and executives in Boston through industry-specific networking events, executive socials, community meetups, and workshops.

NSA Boston was born out of a personal experience. Six years ago, when I first arrived in Boston, I was eager to meet new people and build a network. I attended countless social events, hoping to connect with like-minded individuals. But every time, I ended up sticking with the friends I came with, never really meeting new people. The events felt fun at the moment, but there was little opportunity to form meaningful relationships or get the career guidance I desperately needed.

I also found myself frustrated with the online groups—there was a lot of noise, but little consistency or real engagement. There was no true in-person community where I could learn from successful individuals, ask career questions, or simply share experiences with others in a similar stage of life. I knew I wasn't alone in feeling disconnected and lacking the resources to truly thrive, so I decided to change that.

I wanted to create a space where Nepali students and professionals could come together—not just for social events, but for real connections that could help them grow both personally and professionally. A place where they could build a meaningful network, engage in career-focused conversations, and access valuable resources. That's how NSA Boston began—out of the need for something more than just socializing, but for community, growth, and guidance.
